What we do
Umbrela IO is an independent software company. We design, build, host, and support our own web-based SaaS products, and we sell them directly to customers as monthly or annual subscriptions.
Our focus is applied AI. We use language models and machine learning for the parts of a workflow where they measurably outperform conventional software, and write ordinary, dependable code for everything else. We prefer small products with a clear job over broad platforms — tools you can understand in a minute and rely on for years.
The birds above are the idea in miniature: no bird is steering the flock, and none of the patterns are drawn in advance. A handful of simple rules, applied honestly, produce behavior worth watching.
